do it. you can kill an animal with anything primitive during any season but ml. i jsut use my backup firearm. if a hog charges me and i cant reload my bow he gets a .40 in the head.

I thought you were joking when you asked that question. I don't see how you can pack a boar spear and a bow while hunting. If I was charged by a wounded porker,I'd just grab a tree limb and get out of the way. Shoot it thru the ribs.

It is definitely a gray area no doubt. Not to be a smartass or anything but think about it. Do you think if a wounded piggie is running at you, you think you can really finish him off with a spear? You would be better off with a pistol. But yea I'd just call up TALLANASTY with that question.

Go to ask FWC.com and ask. I don't think they allow spears on WMA's. But ask and post the answer. I'd love to go do some spearing!!! Heck I was close enough to 7 of them today for an old school spearing. lol
