Really? :eek I guess i have been under a rock renting for years but dam my insurance requires it to insure my house...Does anyone around here do inspection in the Gainesville Ocala area?
to do the roof strapping they want for the discount and may now require in some areas, after changing codes. would be almost impossible in alot of cases and really needs to be done when built. many of the spaces are just too small for a person to get into, in my case anyway.
I believe its only required for homes over a certain value. I had to sign a form on our roof install that we just had done. Might want to research it

I heard about it from my homeowners insurance, if I had it I would be eligible for a discount. but to retro fit it in my house would be basicly impossible and/or very expensive. as per the roofers who are at work now. hopefully bthe weather holds and materials arrive as planned. could possibly be done by sat. seems like we waited a month for it to stop raining.
