Where were you 30 years ago today?

i was in NY while dad was in seminary school, moved back here in 82

Was installing a kitchen in an Allstate Homes development in Altamonte Springs, FL with my dad. Heard it over the radio. Coulda been us, considering that the next day, we were supposed to head over to Tampa to pick up some materials. Needless to say, never made the trip.

I can remember 30 years ago. What I can't remember is what I had for breakfast, or if I even had breakfast.

I guess because I grew up in Pinellas co. I will never forget that tragedy or the Blackthorne disaster.Remember fishing out there for years seeing the old bridge the way the ship left it.
