so digging by yourself? seems hard.. need a special drill bit? lol

My dad did it years ago. I think he used a tractor with the tire off the rim to use as a winch to lift the bit up and down. You just wrap the rope around the wheel twice so when you pull tension on it it grabs and when to let off it drops. I think doing it that way you need a water source to flush stuff out that you are drilling. Hard way to go but for just camp it maybe a option $3500 is a lot of dough.

Ever consider a couple of those 400-600 gallon containers on an elevated platform and a 12V RV water pump? You'd only need to put em about 4' up in the air on platforms, and you could still fill em from barrels in the back of a truck using the same 12v pump. One tank alone would definitely last more than a couple weekends. It isn't for drinking, but it is fine for showering and washing down game after processing.

Thats what we did originally. We jerry rigged a gutter on our shed to drain into the 400 gallon tank. Then 12v pumped it out of the tank to run the toilet and shower. We just had to add a little bleach here and there

Yep. That's all ya need. And if it looks like you're running low, you can always tote up a couple 40gal barrels to hold you over.
