Element easy fix

Easy to check it just take a volt meter and do a continuity test on the element. But that will only work most of the time. I've seen It not work, but it is a snap to fix first get a bigger wattage element. To make life easier go but an 1 1/2" socket (6 point) and grind the end flat so it doesn't slip off as easy. Save it because it will save you lots of headachs. If you want to gamble on it change the bottom element because 95% of the times that is the one that goes bad. Also add a little bit on never seaze to make next time a little easier. OR install a self contained unit, all the hot water when you need it and no wasted hot water.
