I see surfing in my near future!
I bought my girls a solid foam learner surfboard and let them play in the shorebreak this past weekend. My middle daughter stood up on her second try. My oldest on like her 6-7th try. I was a proud dad that day!
Invest 95 is still at a 70/80 chance by the NHC 2pm update to develop. The center is now over water just West of the Yucatan, so now we will see how it organizes as conditions remain favorable in the days ahead. Here are the latest spaghetti models and current satellite. Most of the convection is on the East right now. The general consensus is this system will be hanging around the SW Gulf for several days. Models are not consistent, however, on the level of development or future direction, so we will have to watch, wait, and see. Saturday morning hunt for sure. Maybe evening hunt ahead of the cold front, maybe Sunday afternoon if it clears out by then.
Monday and Tuesday scheduled off and will be in a tree. Will be the first few days of Autumn weather.
