Here is a report from a long range weather site I follow. They have been rumoring this getting in the gulf and coming across Fla by late weekend/early next week
The area near the Yucatan is now Invest 95 and chances are up to 30/50 from the NHC. It is expected to move slow towards the Bay of Campeche and eventually the SW Gulf. Models are starting to run on this and are on the site. Overnight GFS and EURO are not very aggressive with development. There is an approaching front that could impact this in a few days... whether it moves West or bends to the Northeast we will have to wait and see. Still dropping pressures in the whole Gulf are predicted and big rains maybe coming for Florida one way or another.
