Truck again! !! BEWARE of shabby mechanics !!

So i changed my passanger side wheel hub my self bout a year and a half ago and didnt take the advice i was given to just do both. Well the passanger side one has had play for over a year.

So after doing the driver side one and the hell it took to get off ( due to dirt road and grime and rust) i decided to suck it up and pay a mechanic to do it. So i get a price from a shop of 50 bucks and he said it would take 15 mins.

So i just said sure being that i would of paid 80 dollars at my local mechanic who usually works on my truck. Only thing it was 30 mins away. Now the only reason i went here is cause a good friend of mines brother works there and i figured it would look good for him getting clientel to the shop.

Now what happened had nothing to do with my friends brother. But this is what happened.

So i get there and i pull my truck in and go sit down. I notice they got the rear tire off. So im like wtf? Anyway i figured ther were gonna rotate my tires also so i was like ok i guess.

Then this comes out and is like, hey we need to shown you something. Now i know there was no problem cause i already did the control arms, shocks, front breaks, rotors, and sway bar joints. So i notice my friends bro kinda had his head down. The other guy (loud mouth short guy wh thinks he can scare you into paying more) says " hey buddy your back brakes are bad and you need to change them" so i take a look and i am like they sare still good ( and besides i can do that myself). He says well you need to do them. Im like well you know what, whats it gonna cost? The guy has the nerve to say $ 155 for the pads and 120 for the rotors THEN INSTALLATION. Lolllll Really the pads are $ 25 bucks and the rotors are $49 bucks. So i nicely said " i just domt have the money right now all i have and can afford is to do what i was priced ok.

This guy starts yelling and says well of you dont do your brakes your hub install will now be $180.00. I say wait buddy you think i drove up here for this. I drove 30 mins away to come here to support a friend who works here and i paiy WHAT YOU QUOTED ME!! I didnt ask for a hookup. Hes still yelling saying you were given that price cause you were going to let us do the rest of the work on your truck!! Lo, WTF? I said look drop it and ill take it somewhere else. So he looks at my friends bro and is like, f that no more of your friends come here i dont got time for this s*. Im standing there and say soooo." you get mad because you tried to scam me into more work, i declined and now you want to raise the price you already aggreed on because i caught on to you?" then they say that i dont know what business is cause i probably have no employees and no work and whatever. I said look "you dont know me, what my company makes or how many employees i got, i probably got more money in the bank then you. I know one thing for sure, im an honest company, do good work and dont ripoff, or demand my customers to pay more for their floor install once i start the work" I walked away and said. Do what you want let me know when its done. So theres yelling and cursing the whole time. Then the guy comes out and says ok how are you paying. I said 50 bucks cash and thats it. Handed him the money and drove off.

They were also trying to make a lady pay 1200 bucks to fill her freeon abd she declined. They got mad and started yelling and they drove took their car off the lift and when the people drove away they had smoke or a mist shooting out from under the wheel well. Guess they pinctured something so they would come back.. Sucks.

Imagine an elderly person who dont know better. They would jack their car up, take off the wheels and demand more money or they would not put the tires back on. The elderly guy wouldnt know better and pay thousands thinking his car was all messes up when all he needed is a tire rotation.. Sucks.
