I keep a log, my yellow notebook as I call it, of all the days I spend in the woods, hours of travel, things captured on my game cameras, money spent on each trip, etc. Last season I hunted 78 days. I'm not even going to mention how much money I spent as for me my sanity have no price. :clap

I have thought about keeping a hunting journal to keep track of days in the field or on the water. Taking note of game, location, moon phase, time of year, temperatures/weather, wind speed and direction, strategies used. Doesn't seem it would be too hard to do at the end of the day sitting around the campfire or dock. I still haven't started one though, need to get off my lazy a**. It would be nice to be able to hand it down to my son when he's older.
