It's zoned Ag. here so they don't bother us. And I'm on the porch watching it. If the winds pick up I just bury it and let it smolder under the dirt. Hope the wind dies off later cause I have a bunch more to burn!

on our private land in Colo, when camping we would drag a cottonwood stump to the fire pit and it would burn for 3 days and so dry you could practically light with a match

we got that in the back also. in the country we burn out garbage so its never ending.. lol

i say go ask your neighbors if they got any brush need burning to keep them happy then light that thing back up and finish the job. you arent going to get in no trouble with a fire in florida like that. just keep an eye on it. ive had a fire truck come to my house about a bon fire i had burning up yard brush and 3 cut up trees and they just said keep an eye on it and dont let it get out of control
