just an fyi, flu shots are onlt good for 1 type of flu (whichever is most popular that year). so if you got the shot and still got A flu you got a different strain most likely. can't get a shot for all of them. and if you or your kids are sick, do the rest of us a favor and keep it to yourselves, don't go to work/parties or visiting just to spread it around thank you.
Also..
People get a flu shot after they have already been in contact with the influenza virus. It also takes 2+ weeks for the flu vaccine to take full effect. So you can still come down with the flu in that window, and think it is caused from the shot
i got a flu shot one time in my life.. and i remembered one thing and one thing only.. WHen i got it i told my self to remember one thing if i ever want to get it again. "I was the sickest i had ever been in my life and felt like i was going to die" .. Thats all i remember.. so i never EVER get the flu shot.
