They talked about other countries that ahd fast train service and we had not done that yet so to compete with them we should get them here...........wtf we need to do what because why???
All this will do is take ppl's land make a few jobs and pad several others pockets...!
we had a rail system here in Tampa before. you know who bought them out???? General Motors. i think it was in the 50s. weren't selling enough cars. i guess. alot of money was spent years ago by the big 3, buying out other forms of transportation, so that personal cars were needed.
Good ole big business controls well I guess we will have to wait and see how this one goes.
i dont think the rail is as much for the locals as it is the tourists, still not a good idea IMO. the tourists are the only ones that will use it and people dont seem to be coming down in the numbers to make it worth while, its not like the rail system will make it worth it to come to FL.
I could see if there were jobs how it could help link workers to more available jobs.
