then again, recluse may have the similar appearing egg sacks, i dunno. i just burn them when i find them. i hate spiders.

Oops, you are right they are brown widows.

For some reason when I read the posts above about recluse, I thought they were talking about widows.
I must be getting old. lol

Basically, the only brown recluses that have been positively identified in Florida are ones that hitchhiked in thru luggage or boxes.
No confirmed breeding populations have been found in Fl.

BTW, this is the same way that bedbugs got established here. They were brought in via luggage.
