Has anyone ever seen a copperhead in FL? I have seen 1. That one was in a wood pile at the house in Steinhatchee. Never saw one before or since.

Never seen one anywhere,had the same thought as you.Are they a rare snake?

They have a small population in north Fl. When we had a place in the mountains back when I was a kid....they were all over the place.
One snake i have never seen(been in the woods my entire life) is a Florida kingsnake.I have caught many species of snakes but that one eludes me. Used to see coachwhips all the time, but haven't seen one in years either. They will eat yer azz up
