I've got a double stack that high and wider un-split free for the taking 100% live oak and right next to the driveway. if I had a wood stove I could heat my house free, but as I don't I'm not about to kill myself splitting it to give away. besides a big un-split piece would burn a long time on a campfire. believe me every sore muscle/tendon in my body knows what hard work you just did. and once again I'm sayin that's the last time I ever do anything like that,(until next time).
Hey Nacho, how far off the Suncoast are you? I am heading up to camp tomorrow and take the suncoast all way up to 98. I'm thinking if I have some spare room in the truck I might swing over and pick up a bit to take with me, if its not too much out of the way

Yeah, I was pretty sore this morning...nothing a little Tylenol won't take care of though. If I would have used my monster maul to split this they would have found my body on the side of the house the next day! Log splitters...a miracle of modern technology. Now if someone would just invent an affordable stacker, then I wouldn't have to pick it up at all until I was ready to burn it...
How soon do you need that wood by your driveway moved? I may come up and grab some myself but I'm not sure when I'd be able to get there. I have a busy weekend starting tomorrow...
We have had wood 5 feet high temp in the 30s and its hot within 30 feet of the fire. 5 guys at the camp and my little sthil 24 chain saw. Not rally big enough to cut some of the wood even collapsed a game cat with on log.
