I've got Uverse now for the last 4 months or so. Took months to get installed in our neighborhood but when it was finally done it has been great. Great pic and sound. Service crews have to make multiple trips to get anything done though.
I've had Dish for almost 8 years now and I can't complain a bit. We had direct back in '02-'03 and they wanted to go up on the rates, but honestly dish has held steady. My monthly bill has not changed much more than $10-$15 dollars in this time frame. We had comcast before either satellite service and that's where we lost service the most frequent. I've been really surprised how long our signal stays on when the bad weather moves in. It has to be walls of water before it goes out. Just my $.02.
We've got DirectTV and we like it. I think our bill is close to $90 but we've got nearly every channel available plus rent some movies and have a dvr.
