Good point Gary. What if its a fleet vehicle? Say a Terminix truck. Absolutely no way to prove who is/was driving it at the time
so it was your car? and happened twice. I believe you are responsible for who you let drive your car. just suppose you lend your car to a drunk, he ends up killing someone, no responsability on your part? 1st time shame on them, 2nd time shame on you. how long are you going to enable it.
nice try. two different sceanarios. if he lends his car to a drunk, that makes him an idiot. if his wife and or kids roll thru a red light it is THEIR responsibility, not his. this is one of the major flaws in the red light camera system. they should have a different camera angle to get the driver, like they do with speeding cameras. my brother got nailed by one and was going to fight it til he saw his face on camera.
if he lends his car to a capable driver, and they do something stupid, beyond his control/knowledge then those people are responsible for their actions.
absolutely right and am not trying to preach but the third time could be a lot more serious than a rolling red light. caught twice, how many times not caught? my wife got a speeding ticket in her car and insurance dropped me for her ticket. your car insurance could go up for someone elses driving in your car. nobody else see an orange flag here?

Someone else driving your car is one of the 5 allowed defenses under the statues. However, they want a sworn statement from the owner giving the name, birthdate and driving license # of the person who was driving your car at the time of the violation.
