I can't sustain a constant run as of yet. But I am improving daily. I just got back into this a couple months ago and have noticed drastic improvements to my health
If you're hitting it for 80 minutes each day, you most definitely should feel an improvement. That's very good, I don't do much more than 1/4 of that and I just maintain. Keep it up!
I had to stop for a few days to let blisters heal on my feet (from worn out shoes). First day back at it I could feel I had taken a step back. You definitely gotta stick with it every day.
Since beginning of July, I have gone from 245 starting point and I broke into the 220's this morning. I want to break 200 before the new year. That's my goal. One of my goals anyway

I was already thinking about this when I started back up again. I can remember my shins killing me the last time I started running. Before I even began, I hit the sports store to buy some new shoes.
Not to get off topic, but its not easy buying athletic shoes when your reaching 40. Everything is neon colored...made out of plastic....no shoe laces...etc d*mnit man Took me a bit to find something normal that fit well.
Back on topic...Its amazing how much easier it is to start/keep running when your feet aren't killing you the entire time
You got that right man. I walked into Beall's and all the shoes were these funky colors. I got a pair on NB in all white.Lmao
