I understand it cost a little more if you don't have the card and can't swipe it.Just something I read in the fine print also a little more for larger monies.I am still getting one for my business.

I spoke to my secretary after I wrote that yesterday and she told me it was 3.25 % for a non swiped transaction originally and 2.75% if swiped. After my 1st large transaction she was able to negotiate it down for the larger ones.

I just read in a copy of Fortune magazine about another form of payment using your phone. A few places have it where you walk in with your smartphone access their network and register your phone and basically create an account. When you order something like a coffee, you tell them to charge it to the name on your account. After the initial registration you don't ever have to pull your phone or wallet out again. Sounds a little unsecure to me but is interesting.

Hmmm, yep and before you know it all you have to do is get a little tattoo or some other type of mark on your forehead or forearm and your good to go! Its getting easier and easier to see where all this new technology is headed... :eek
