Ordered my Springfield xd from budsguns on Monday it shipped to the ffl today. I figured buds woulda done the background check and the 5 days of shipping woulda counted towards the 3 day cooling off period. But boy was I wrong. I went to go pay for the transfer today and pick up my handgun and I did the paperwork and they tell me it's gonna be Thursday before I get it... Then the guy tells me, well you coulda came down here Monday and we coulda done the background check that day so when I came to pay I could pick it up. I said well I wish y'all woulda told me that.!!!! So now I'm waitin till Thursday to pick it up!!

Yep, I was going to say the same thing about the CCP. I picked up a .40 XDM compact on Tuesday. Walked in bought the gun filled out the paperwork, the clerk called in my CCP, walked out with the gun plus two boxes of ammo and an Uncle Mikes #15 holster. Taking it to the range tomorrow :>)
I've got about 300 rounds of ammo. Just waitin to be tried out. Would like to find a good holster. I was gonna get the XDM but we know a gun smith and he had the xd and XDM completely apart and they are practically the same gun. The barrel on the XDM is supposed to be a match barrel but in fact is the exact same barrel as the xd. So I decided to get the xd. I got the xd .45 w/ the 4 inch barrel. I'm still amazed at a .45 capable of holding 13 rounds!
