found this a few years ago and did some work on it great for fla hunting trips I like your full size ram charger , more room
Now that is one sweet ride! I was actually looking for a full sized Jeep Wagoneer for about 3 weeks before I found this. I looked a 4 around the Tampa Bay area but everyone I looked at had some major rust issues. I love those things though. I've had two myself, a '66 with a 327 Vigilante Engine & a '75 with a AMC 360. They are great in the woods.
^ Thanks, I have a parts jeep to go with this one. Bought it for the beter axles and rhino grill. The rust is all over and beyond repair. Also has a broken crank shaft. I bet your '66 was great fun with a quick reving 327 under the hood.
How is the turning radius on the Ram Charger ?

Yeah my '66 was a great truck. That 327 with "3 on the tree" was pretty peppy for a heavy Jeep. The clutch was heavy though and used to wear me out when I had to wait in line for anything...I was in line for over an hour trying to get into the North Florida National's Tractor Pull one year and swore I was getting an automatic when I got rid of that Jeep.
It was great fun though. I used to drop the tailgate and stuff my motorcycle in backwards and head to the woods. I'd strap the handlebars to the rear bumper. And it came with a rhino grill from the factory! Haha, I never knew how popular those would become or I would have kept it. Heck I never knew they were called rhino grills either until I read it on a Jeep forum...
Anyhow, the RC turns really well and tight because of the short wheelbase at least better than the lifted Astro I had before. The only real limitation is the big ol' 16" wheels and 35" tires I have on it. They tend to rub a little bit. I plan on a 4" lift to get more clearance with them.
One spring in Green Swamp I was behind a Ram Charger heading to a hunting location at Bull Barn, when the tail lights of the Ram went under water. I was impressed, it just keep going. After the hunt leaving in full light I could see just how bad the mud holes were, that truck is pretty capable off road. With some lift the tires should not rub and give a better stance.
