I'm no engineer, and I'm sure it's allready been thought of, but what about drilling a secondary shaft as close to the first and take away enough of the pressure to cap the bad one? Scott thats kinda your area, on a larger scale but, whats your take on it?

That's the dumb ass on the news every night talking about how he going to plug it but not doing a dam while our gulf fisheries are being destroyed!
