Is anyone involved in the oil clean up effort out in the panhandle? I am a Captain and am looking to use my skills to help in the effort. It's driveing me nuts watching the coverage on the news every night and feeling helpless as the oil distroys the gulf coast!
got a strategy that will work? seems theres plenty of people, rich and poor willing to help but no plan/direction as to what and how to do it.a buddy of mine owns a boat repair/marina and it looks like the gov't is gonna pay him to close his doors. only problem is the money he wil get comes from the avg of the last 3 years, which were the worst 3 he's ever had.
They need to plug the freakin' hole up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What good is it gonna to to clean it up and have all the oil back the next day?Even Bill Clinton said that puting explosives on it could stop it.
Ya I agree with all of ya! Its just pissing me off! And when it's does finaly get capped off I will be doing my part to clean it up!
