I like the look and features of the new Ford Explorer but Ford's electronic dashboard problem is holding me back.
I've heard current year ones are better but they still have problems.
I may just go look at the Chevy Tahoe instead.
They sent out a fix for that a while back. It was on a little USB you plugged in and it did it's thing. We have had absolutely ZERO problems out of ours! I am actually quite impressed by the electronic stuff. It just works. Plus, there is built in redundancy. If you don't want to use the dash there's still the old fashioned knobs or even touch buttons. There's 3 ways of controlling stuff. Actually 4 with the voice commands.
Call me old school, but I'm just not a big fan of the new body style on the explorer
But it seems like a nice truck otherwise
