New Camping Toy

Hey y'all, I just aquired a new camper to take hunting. I actually got it for free :>) Yep, free. I was talking to a buddy at church at a Men's Night Rib Fest a couple of months ago and we were discussing hunt camps and such and I mentioned I was looking for an old travel trailer for super cheap to fix up and throw in the woods up in Live Oak. He told me his boss had an RV he's been trying to give away. I almost choked on my ribs! I asked him if he could tell his boss I was interested. Well he did and I went down to Largo to take a look not really expecting much and man was I wrong! This thing has 69,000 miles on it, purrs like a kitten and has extra beefy suspension, a 7000 watt Onan generator (runs great but not making power yet), sleeps six, has 3 rooftop 1 ton a/c's, full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refridgerator and freezer, shower and toilet. I looked at it a couple of Monday's ago and drove it up to Art's house in Lutz last Monday.

It's history is that it was a traveling xray/biopsy lab in a previous life. He bought it about 6yrs ago and started to convert it back into a camping RV. He took his kids camping in it until they got older and too cool to be seen in it so it sat at his warehouse for the last two years. Sometime during that sitting it developed a roof leak at the very forward a/c unit and rotted the carpet and plywood directly under the leak. Me and my buddy Art and son-in-law Zac are going to tear into it and get it ready for this hunting season. I ripped out all the rotted carpet yesterday morning and will be replacing the plywood underflooring this weekend.
