**UPDATE
Mom continues to make very baby steps towards recovery. Still very critical and can easily turn for the bad at any moment, but we are making very tiny bits of progress. Doctors are astounded. 2 of the doctors told me today that in their years in the medical field, they had never seen a white blood count as high as mom had 3 days ago. Normal is between 5,000-10,000. Hers jumped up to over 107,000
Still a long ways to go.......
Update#2
My mother in law is now in the hospital. My wife was on her way over there for a T-day lunch, and I was gonna break away and meet them. Mother in law got out of bed, tripped and broke her humerus(bone between elbow and shoulder). Apparently its a very bad break, and they had to take her via ambulance to hospital b/c of other health issues. They were gonna take her to same hospital my mom is in, but there was no orthopedic surgeon on duty, and they need one like now. She is in CCU and scheduled to have surgery on it at any time
When it rains it pours
Damn it sure seems to. Praying that everything comes out for the best for all of your family!
Please continue to pray for my mom. She has been making slight improvements the last few days. However, she has had a setback today with todays bloodwork
I had my hopes up, now I have a very bad feeling about this
