I know that there is a date code on the bottom but I can't seem to date it... I do know that nothing changes once it has been bottled.

Not sure about dating the bottles, but I'm an expert at emptying them! I remember my FIL gave me a bottle of Canadian Club that was brought back from Canada back in the 80's. It still had the Duty stamp on it.
I compared it to the CC that you can buy in the states... No comparison! The old stuff was so much more smooth. I expertly emptied that bottle out. Too quickly I might add. This reminded me of that bottle... Enjoy yours!

Well seems to me that everyone wants to sample something old but isn't theresomeone out there that knows how to figure out how old this stuff is? The closest that I've came to aging this stuff is 50-75 years. Has anyone out there ever drank anything this old before? I know that it is something that doesn't come around very often. What is the oldest everyone has had before?

Nothing that old, but......I had an old boss years back give me a "handle bottle" of Jim Beam for a Christmas present. Funny thing is I was 18 at the time. Lol. It made it thru all my partying days untouched. I cracked it for my 40th birthday. Man that stuff was smooth
