OK my FOHAF friends I need someone with the knowledge of Seagrams 7 Crown... I Hanve a couple of bottles that I'm guessing is 50+ years old but don't know how to age them. Can someone tell me how to age these bottles? One the seal hasn't been broken the other tasted nice... I know that they don't gain value after bottled as far as taste that is... how can I tell how old they are?
:saluting
Not sure. But I would sample it 1 ounce at a time. Over ice and a splash of tonic. You know, to check quality and all...... :tequila
Don't listen to anyone on here! Box them up and send them to me for proper disposal! I have a bottle of 7UP that will help in the process!
:tequila Lets do it!
Well I'm no connoisseur but I can tell you that they changed the bottle content from quart to Mil. liters in 1980. And some bottles had codes for dating on the bottom.
