small piece of camphor in a camp fire will keep the bugs away
yes the the first 8 years here we had virtually no mosquitos, the last few they have been coming on strong. I'm gonna miss it, but it's gotten too big and top heavy and is right next to my well, and shades the pool. kind of a fine line of wanting shade, but not mildew or storm damage.
