BROOKSVILLE --
Detectives are investigating the deaths of two people whose bodies were found in a heavily wooded area of the Chassahowitzka Forest, the Hernando County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities said a preliminary investigation indicates the deaths were not random and the public needn't be concerned for their safety.
Deputies originally said the bodies were found in the Withlacoochee Forest.
a dump job and too lazy to bury them. I wouldn't think a body would last long between the various animals and insects dining on them.

One article said the incident was contained to the 2 people, and the public was not in danger. Sounds like a drug OD or a murder/suicide to me
