Just hit the deer! I nailed one doing 80MPH on the interstate on the south side of Indy in 2000 Taurus. I hit him with the front left corner of the car and he messed up the hood, the front bumper, the left quarter panel, both driver's side doors, and we found a piece of antler broken off in the windshield. The deer came around and broke the driver's side mirror off and the mirror busted out the driver's side window. It happened so quick all my wife (who was pregnant at the time) knew was she got sprayed in the face with glass and cold air. The car was totaled, but we were fine.
Fast forward to 2010, and I was driving my F150 to go bow hunting and big 8 pnt buck decided to run in front of me. I flat spotted my tires but still hit him. He was crippled in the ditch with a messed hip and I had to dispatch him. I was almost sick to my stomach when I checked for damage, and then I couldn't find any! I hit him just right with the center of the bumper and the only damage (which took a couple of weeks to find) was a cracked mount for one of the fog lights. Talk about built Ford tough! The deer weighed right at 200 pounds.
