I grew up with it. My dad was an alky and then my EX father in law was and still is a flaming drunk. ( ex so i don't see him no more) but my ex wife and kids live with him and he's just a mess. Im surprised he hasn't gotten a dui yet. He should not be driving. And i worry so much cause he drives and picks my kids up from school.
Every day he's pounding beers, lives with a bottle of Bacardi by the bedside. We've tried and he wont stop or listen. REMEMBER the only way for an alky to get better is to first realize they have a problem and go get help or ask for it.

like i said we live 200ft apart. it is ugly. my sister has a 410 pump she loves for home defense and her big brother taught her how to use it. she also had an alarm system put on her house to add more security.

I Agree Completely.
worked around this and had family alcoholics. Uncle stayed sober for 46 years but he would tell you he was still a drunk. another very successful fell down the stairs drunk and killed himself. Worked a lot of domestics involving booze and it is never easy. The wife needs a good atty. to get every thing spelled out in the final decree. if he drinks that much then alcohol poisoning just might get him one day.
