I also have 1999 Wrangler Sahara, with an inline 6, auto trans and A/C. I keep it in Homosassa and use it to cruise in the Citrus WMA and for general around town use. It is not as cool as my 1973, but it has many advantages. The biggest being the front disk brakes and A/C. Hope this helps...

Here is a picture of my 1973 Jeep CJ5 that has had a full frame off restoration. It has a 304 V-8, T-15 3 speed transmission. Me and my daughter use it to cruise around Dunedin and Honeymoon Island. It is a horrible daily driver and is even worse for towing. The drum brakes on the older Jeeps are very weak and the steering is very loose. Fun to drive on the weekends thats all.

Good looking jeep Strunes. That is about what I'm looking to get into. Didn't think about that with the brakes though and forgot about A/C. I'm just now starting to look around but not too serious about making it happen right away. That's a little more than I want to spend right now HB without unloading my boat but I'll let ya know when I need pics. Thanks guys.
