Any good ortho Dr. will know right off the bat if you need and ACL or MCL surgery without a MRI simply by a few twist of the knee. Sounds to me like you might have a few torn meniscus which can be repaired with ortho surgery. with good luck you'll be out and about in like 3-5 days.
Ok I'll still go back to my "Original diagnoses" Now Remember I didn't say that you would be hands and knees with a Knee kicker. But you will be able to walk around and point the finger.
Lol i dont install carpet! I install and refinish hard wood & laminate flooring. Carpet we only clean!
If i was a carpet knee kicker id be screwed!
I've had a torn acl. Completely torn from a basketball injury. If it was acl you wouldn't be walkin on it without crutches.
Probably a meniscus tear, which is still painful, but not as bad. Like someone else said, a routine procedure and some rehab and you'll be back on your feet before you know it. But do the rehab. You can see the therapist a few times and then ask them to give you home instructions if it's too expensive.
Cool. Ill see on wednesday with my mri results.

Knew ya didn't do carpet I was just trying to get my point across. I hadn't ever seen a hardwood knee kicker. But that would be rough on the knee.
