the only thing that sucks about contacts is you cannot swim in them. they come out in the pool quite easily if you open you open your eyes under water. once my insurance kicks in I am going to look in to surgery. my brother had it done 2 years ago and he had a very strong prescription. I could not handle the glasses and got contacts 6 or 7 years ago. I do not wear safety glasses often enough, nor do I change them when I am supposed to. I have the ones that you can keep in for a month. mine average 2-3 months or until I see shit floating across my eye.
been wearing contacts since 1981. best decision I ever made. I swim in mine also. Now, after 2 torn retinas-work related-I wear one in my right eye only. left eye 2010. go get them.
I've worn contacts for about 4 years, probably one of the best things i'v done. Only problem iv had was an inflamed cornea from falling alseep in them. As for swimming, goggles are you friend, I haven't tried to open my eyes under water in fear that it will wash them out.
Yea i got the ones you can keep on for a month and sleep in. Day 2 ,Slept well but still feel a little uncomfortable and a little hard to focus. But anythings better then glasses.
