I got no problem with the air optix and sunglasses. I also sand wood floors with contacts and no problem.
Allen did you get the breathable that you can wear for like a month at a time without taking out at all?
SO I had my official 1 week follow up today. Over the last 3-4 days noticed my vision was not that great and I was having trouble seeing to read. She bumped my script up another notch. The ones I am wearing are Biofinity. She put a set of Air Optix in to try and I thought I was going to dig my eyes out. She looked at them under the light and they were moving all over the place when I blinked. Her immediate comment was "yeah, those aren't going to work for you"......
SO I got another set of Biofinity's at a slightly higher script than I had, and they are wonderful. Haven't seen this clear in a long time. These are the ones that can stay in up to 7 days, then have to be cleaned. Putting them in has gotten easier, but I really don't want to be fumbling with them at 4:30 AM when it is hunting season either..
It gets easier and easier. It takes me about 10 seconds to put mine in these days.
See biofinity did not work for me. They were too thin and i could not get them out. If you have astigmatism the airoptics are the best bet for movement cause they have 2 weights on them near the bottom to keep them from spinning. Astigmatic lenses have 4 different prescriptions on them so IF they spin it sucks and every blink is a quick blur. The air optics work for me fir my situation. Get the monthly ones. My wife gets 3 months out of hers at a time!
Glad you got a brand that fit you. Took me 5 different brands.
Ive had mine in for 3 weeks and forgot i had them in until i read this thread. Lol
