I have astigmatism in my right eye, and only need the one lens. It is a toric, and has to be for my prescription. However, getting them in and out are a PIA, especially removing them. I only need them for distance vision, so I quit wearing them. I just keep my glasses handy when driving and day-to-day stuff. If I go shooting or play golf, I may wear the one contact. But I haven't used it in about 6 months or longer.
When I pull mine out...I pull my bottom eyelid down, lightly touch the contact and slide it down off my retina before removing. I slightly pinch the very bottom of the contact when I go to pull it out. Be sure to rinse your fingers off beforehand.
I tried a pair that was so thin i could not get them out. I think they were called boifinity. Felt like i scratched my eye taking them out.
Getting better. I got both mine in today after I lost one this morning trying to put them in. LMAO. Went to eye dr and got a new sample. I drove up to camp for a quick trip. Mowed grass and jumped on ATV for a quick ride to run it. I got a face full of dust and couldn't get back to camp fast enought o get them out. Back to glasses for the evening........

Thats the only problem with contacts in the woods...if you are driving dirty/dusty roads or anything resembling such....it will wreck you... My advice is to get a spare set of glasses for your truck and keep them with you while hunting or wear them while hunting.
