If you have a smart phone be sure and get the app from go pro. It is so much easier to set the camera up and live streaming is good. and you can make sure it is actually recording. I use one all the time and love it.

That appears to be an issue within itself. I went to download the app, and there is a message on Gopro's website that there is a software issue with the app working on Droid razr's. Guess which phone I have.....
Galaxy? 🙂 hopefully you get it figured out. I have been eyeballing a camera but have yet to make a decision on which one to get.
I have the hero 2 . The only complaint i have heard with the new one is the battery life and if you put in a back pack the buttons are sensitive and turn on, thus running battery down. I have wifi for mine but usually take it off. My battery last about 2 hours filming . I use mine hog hunting with dogs so i don't live stream. The editing is the biggest pain and i watch best buy ads and i got two 32g class 10 card for $20 @. An extra card is handy
