Damn Dave grow some balls! :taz Tell them to get lost!!!!!! If they aren't willing to put any time or money into the place and then have the balls to ask you too move stands around they obviously don't respect you or anyone else who does put the time in. Sounds like you need to find better friends/hunting partners. Sorry if this came across wrong, but I hate when people take advantage of the good nature of other people.

John....already got a nice set :ban ..and dont worry.. not thin skinned....but seriously....thats why I said...they never understand when someone else is going hunting instead of them....Like Rad07 says....they're all ready to go in the fall,,but try to get to get some help without begging for it....not all like that,,but some just never change and they're good guys and not worth losing a friendship over....but pretty disappointing....I like working, and love working in the woods, but its hard to get roads limbed, feeders filled, cameras set, stands put up, plots in, firewood...and all the other stuff done when people lay on their ass....I think we all see it at various clubs...but I dont say shit to em.....just start looking for a better option....and then like I said....they're wondering why they aint hunting this year.

Not only would I not let them go I'd make it a point to tell them why. I don't think thats being to harsh at all. And if that looses a friend they were never really a friend in the first place. I'd just say I had a few guys who helped me with the lease and i think they "Deserve" a hunting trip or two. Sorry maybe next year I can find some time to let you hunt with me. :clap

I agree with john l, if they can't find time and gumption to support the effort, then they need to sit home come hunting time. Makes you wonder about their upbringing.

Y'all ever need a hand with your leases/ranches/farms/etc., give me a shout and I'll do my damndest to give you a hand, no strings attached. I can swing a hammer, operate most shovels, put in sprinklers, weld, mix mud for cinder blocks or brick, run a mower, put up fence (chain, barbed wire, privacy, whatever), pull that barge, tote that bale, etc. etc. I haven't always worked at a computer, at one time I had callouses and still remember how to get them!

I'm not a country boy and don't know how to drive a tractor or what not but was raised to leave an area better than you found it even if it's only picking up some garbage, or fixing up stands I'm allowed to hunt in. the last thing I want is for someone to regret letting me hunt their property.

I'd move his stand for him...right in the f(&#ing garbage. Tell that D-bag to cram it up is azz! Or if you want give me his number and I will tell him for you...I hate lazy people!

Yeah, I never understood it either....I was brought up that if one works we all work, then we all take a break together......seems so simple....I know there aint no way I can sit around and watch others constantly do what I should be doing......just dont get it....
