Well, Brighthouse will be here on Friday. So long DirectTV and dropped signals whenever a moth flies in front of the dish. AND, I'll actually get real HD. DirectTV has it so compressed so conserve satellite space, that by the time it's expanded on my 55" 1080p DLP, it's not much more clear than regular TV. How do I know, you ask? Well, because I can pick up local channels via an antenna, and the same local channel on DirectTV is not nearly as high quality as the HD coming in over the air.

I can't wait. I'm gonna miss Embarq internet, but not the bill at the end of the month. I'm on the 19.99 for life plan, but combined with the phone bill, it's up over $80 a month just for phone and internet. I'm gonna save about $60 a month by going to brighthouse.
