don't have brighthouse here only cox...I am dumping the pay channels and reducing 35.
I have no pay channels at all, and my DirectTV is over $90 a month. That's why I'm going to Brighthouse.

I'm pleased w/ DirectTV after my wife and I decided to dump them twice and kept throwing in HBO for a yr free and another DVR for free just for staying with them. I HATED Cox when we lived in Gainesville and I wouldn't watch TV again if I had to go through them for it.
My wife called Verizon last nite to see about getting a better rate than we currently have. They gave her the blah blah blah story. She asked if we were "out of contract", which they confirmed we were. So she went the "we would like to cancel our service" route. Well, we ended up with a better rate by at least $50/month. Also got a better internet upgrade, got NFL redzone for free, got Cinemax/showtime/starz forever for free, one year free HBO, and an extra DVR receiver for free, as well as a full HD package for free.
