Well, I've replaced 2 radiators...all the stupid coil pack things, and now a dang transmission. Next things the engine and I'll have whole new truck for all I care about...
I have a helluva transmission guy here in Lakeland if anyone ever needs a rebuild. Cheaper than most, knows his stuff, and stands behind it.
Well, my turn again.
I drop my truck off to get a brake job. They pull the tires/wheels off and the service manager calls me over and explains a lot of stuff about brakes, etc to me. I had some uneven wear on the pads and he explained why, etc. Got a price on pads and turning rotors, bleeding brake system and changing fluid since that hadn't been done in forever.
My wife picks me up and we aren't even to the traffic light and phone rings...."Mr Rogers, we have found an issue with your rear end"..
Turn around and back to the shop. When the tech pulled the right rear rotor off there was grease all over the back of it, so the right rear seal was gone. So now they are replacing all that crap....
