About 20=+year ago i replaced my wife heater core in her 86 sable. started after work on a cold night. drop the steering column and remove the dash. She had heat in the morning.
Its like putting a 350 together from used parts(every thing used rings bearings) laying around in the shop 2 days before opening archery so you can run you boat down the river to hunt opening morning. You gotta do what you gotta do.
