If you switch to a low carb diet (like I have suggested a dozen or more times), your body will go thru a process called Ketosis. That is your body switching from burning carbs as fuel to proteins as fuel. You will feel like crap for a few days and think you are going to starve to death. And you will have a pounding headache. One you get thru ketosis, you will feel like a new man. You just have to change your eating habits. One to 2 meals a day won't cut it. You may eat 6-10 times a day, but small portions and healthy snacks. After a couple weeks you won't even want carby foods.
This morning I had 3 eggs cooked in coconut oil, a piece of cheese, and a piece of sausage. For lunch, 2 pieces of grilled chicken breast. Been snacking on pistachio nuts since. For supper I am going to grill burgers, but like Ron Diaz says (local sports talk host ) "I,m gonna knock the bread off that b&^^H."
If you go hungry on a lo-carb diet, you aint doing it right. SO far I have knocked off 8 pounds in just a little more than a week
I cant say I get the headache. I can say it seams to flush you intestinal track during the first few weeks. Now I eat salads-iceberg lettuce and meat.
really my bread is the lettuce, rap some meat cheese in a leaf and theres you sandwich. You can also use eggs like a bread scramble and cook them a little longer till there tougher.
I ate this way for years when I was single. Hell I had a freezer full of venison, all ways. Oh I am cheep to don't buy food if theres something in the freezer.
