I know where ur comin from. Something about being able to certain things w/o remorse not fitting in well with acceptable society behavior. Been there. Done that. Gotta be a little off to be able to drop the hammer.
He should have called backup first. She was obviously resisting arrest and he should have tazed, punched, maced, etc. both of them. Because she's black it's suddenly a racial thing. I don't even want to go off on a tangent about this, so I will only say that's what wrong with this country IMO. Respect the LE.

My oldest son just left a force for exactly this type of reason, among others! He was tired of the attitudes and decided to let his son grow up with a Dad vs. losing one.
This cop was well within his rights and powers to do what he did. IMHO, she was lucky he only punched her, especially after she continued to resist.
And those idiots with their camera phones were just looking to get on the news, maybe make some green!
They knew what was going on and more than likely planned the whole thing so it would get to a "RACIAL" point,which it was not.
