Fire warnings at my hunt camp its so dry
Fixing to head to camp. It hasn't quit raining down here since Sat. am. We even had a few tornados in the area last night. Lightning last night was nonstop. Can't wait to get up to a nice cold morning in Georgia.
We were blessed with 1" on Tuesday in our part of Washington County. Ponds are still almost dry and the branches haven't had any water in months. Wish we could relieve some of you fellers of the excess water you are reporting in areas south of the panhandle. Apalachicola reported over 7" on the news last night from our rain maker. 1" sure does a "green field" a world of good. Oats planted on the 8th of October are looking good and should be a good draw by Thanksgiving morning. Wet or dry, ol' buck is out there somewhere, all we got to do is out think him. Treefarmer
10-4 on that. Ill be perched in a tree stand this weekend dry or wet
