When my granny got to where she needed care, she refused to go to an ALF. Luckily my aunts lived nearby and could take turns with her (they all live near Zephyrhills/Dade City). Then one of my aunts broke her ankle, and another had to have a knee replaced, so it was too much for the other aunt to handle alone. They used a service called Visiting Angels to come in and take care of her during the day when my aunt worked. The nurse that cared for Granny really was a wonderful lady, a real blessing in Granny's last months.
Will be praying for your mom, il2h.
