NEVER EVER let your passport, d/l, any IMPORTANT PAPERS leave your body whatsoever, for any reason. take nothing for granted, church sponsered or not. take all your own medicine script or otc, foot powder, sunscreen, thermocell/bug spray, socks, t-shirts , there will be nothing there and if there is the LOCALS will most likely pillage all deliveries first.
it is now below 3rd world status and they do not care if your there to help or not, battle zone comes to mind. sorry to sound like this but if your not prepared it could be the worst or best event of your life.
