This works great. I don't seem to have the area calculator tool on my GE toolbar. I followed the instructions in the help menu but it didn't work. Thanks for the link. :toast
Sorry I didn't go a step further. I have the regular Google Earth, I just get a rough measure using their standard ruler function of width and length in feet and multiply them together for square feet and then divide by 43,560 sf (an acre). Its not as precise as using gps coordinates but its close enough for me and I can do it pretty quickly.
