Man i miss the good ol days when there was mom and pop mechanic shops.

I go to one in largo they are so honest. Work in front of you and just are what the standard should be.

Ive had my truck worked on many times and they always fix stuff right and don't pressure you to do extra work.

Well i was driving back from hunt camp and my ac starts blowing hott. So i do what everyone does, go and get a can of freon and fill it. Man they should stop selling those cans cause you can apparently you can overfill it badly. When you go to autozone they say its full cant take anymore you get the impression that you fill it til the can wont go in any more. NOPE not at all correct. I had the guy tell and shoe me how i maxed out his meter. And his meter goes up to 450 lbs!!!.

Well the shop drained it and filled it right! Ice cold air. !! What happened is i was low, then the compressor has a safety feature to shut down if the freon is low, them i overfilled it and the compressor wouldn't turn on because it has a safety feature to shut down if its too full!!!

Now otthet BIG SHOPS, would of said the compressor wad bad and charge over or near 1000 bucks.

I just paid $43.66!! Gotts love honesty!!

Yep, I have a guy I go to in Clearwater when I can't do the work myself. He actually looks for ways to save you money on repairs. He's honest and very knowledgable. He works out of a small garage right behind the Home Depot on Curlew & 19. The garage belongs to an electrical services company. He'll even come to your house or work place if needed.
